Adult Sibs: Supportive Networks

The need of adults with siblings with special needs are vastly different from children. As a result, SIBS NJ seeks to recognize those needs through creating supportive networks and groups for adults throughout the state, where they may come together to voice their concerns in a judgement free environment.

Some of the concerns facing adult sibs include:

– Future planning & Care Giving Responsibilities

– Juggling your own responsibilities with the needs of a special needs sibling

– Aging Parents & Dual-Roles

– Frustrations & Strategies for Navigating Services in NJ
